To start, I absolutely loved finally dipping into the animation world and video editing world with my own creativity and no boundaries. The initial learning curve and actually coming up with a story line that I liked was extremely difficult but well worth the outcome.

I didn't want to create something like a drug trip, head coma, or simple dream. I wanted to add a twist from beginning to end and make this short movie UN-predictable. The idea of having someone turn into a dog for some reason sparked from having dogs around the house constantly growing up and during college. Thanks to my roommate Ben, I was able to capture a bit more of the experience of trying dog food and tripping from it because of his acting! It was also really fun to mess with the editing affects of premiere to make it seem more intense. As for the animation, I really wanted to test if I could display my own style of sketching as moving pictures. Luckily, I think it turned out pretty well and I definitely learned lot about cartoon sketching, proportions and movement. As for the ending, I wanted to do something unexpected and a little bit daring. Fortunately, Ben was down to strip down and put a collar on for the final brief scenes!

Overall, I was so stoked to learn at least the basics of these programs and I absolutely plan on continuing to use them for random projects in the future! I really hoped everyone enjoyed watching and I am super grateful for this project :) !!

Lastly, here are some of my original sketches that helped bring this idea to life!
